Community Outreach Center proudly announces the relocation of its offices and the opening of a state of the art Community Center at 11 Remsen Avenue in Monsey – The first of its kind in the area.
Centrally located, the building boasts three floors of spaced designed to accommodate the wide-ranging needs of the greater Monsey, NY community.
The Center was the vision of the late Rabbi Jacob Horowitz, ZT”L, founder of COC. “My father worked tirelessly to lay the groundwork for this project, and we are thrilled to reach this milestone for the community,” state Rabbi Hersh Horowitz, Executive Director of Community Outreach Center. “Every community deserves a home base where residents can gather and seek out assistance if they need,” he added.
The three level, 15,000 sq. ft. building includes a large multipurpose room, administrative offices, classrooms for adults programming and expanded youth programs and private rooms where COC staff will continue sot server the public through its myriad services.
Since 1977, COC has been delivering top-notch community based services including, Huma Services, Employment and Adult re-education, Senior Citizen programs, remedial services and after school programs and community Safety Programs and initiatives. Providing services from the Community Center will improve the client experience and allow COC’s skilled staff to server more individuals and families.
